MY 2 CHOCOLATES - NAP TIME
bruceandmaggie.jpg

A picture is worth a thousand words, right? So now you know that I love to travel and I love my 4-legged children. And I'm lucky enough to be able to paint what I love.

Here's a bit more information for those who would like some academic background. I have a BA in fine arts from the University of New Mexico in intaglio printmaking (etching). I have studied with some wonderful artists: Greg Kreutz, Kim English, and Doug Dawson, to name a few. I'm a signature member of The Pastel Society of New Mexico and an associate member of Women Artists of the West. That's the credentials.

I was born in Albuquerque, N.M., awhile back and am a 3rd generation New Mexican. I  was raised in a home filled with beautiful treasures of the past, as my parents are avid collectors, and I was exposed to many styles of art and elegant objects. I credit my love of the exotic and art to my parents who always endeavored to expose me to the wonders of this world. I was fortunate to have time to study and develop an appreciation for fine art. For me, to be able to really "see" while observing is a blessing, and one I strive to achieve and communicate in my work.
